Statement

I wanted to write this as a statement of purpose. The reason why I created this site. It's not a sadistic infatuation with watching people get pummeled. It is, in fact, a means of "educating" people.

I fight. I grew up fighting. I was small, and in a bad neighborhood in Philly. after getting bigger, and having less enemies, I got into sport fighting. This was just a means to keep me sharp. It just felt weird for me not to have fists thrown at me from time to time. I never liked starting fights, but when you live with it all your life, you feel like something is missing when it's not around.

i watch these videos as education for what might come. The world changes, and although people in my past were malicious in their victories, it seems to have gotten a bit worse out there. The things to look for is a comparison between the trained fighters in the MMA world, and the thugs on the street, school, bus, bar, subway, etc. Notice what works for people in all those situations, and learn from their mistakes.

The biggest mistake these people make, is to get caught up in the moment. To let the fight unfold, or not notice the danger of a fight brewing. Leaving before a fight begins is ALWAYS the best policy. Choosing to brush past, or go through your aggressor is the first mistake the losers make.

The second is to not be prepared for the fight. No matter how much yelling goes on, the first person to get hit always looks surprised it happened. They should expect it, and never let their opponent get into a position of advantage, or close enough to make an unblock-able move.

In the street fights, you will notice the person moving forward, or controlling their punches wins. The person who turns their back, or lets themselves be pushed backward looses. Move to the side and always face your opponent. Control, accuracy, skill, wins most of the time.

Notice how many times a 3rd person jumps in. And notice how many times others, not involved do not help when they can. This is what to look for in these videos. Learn from others mistakes. So you don't make the same. It's a cruel world out there, and you never know the skill level, or the mental stability of the person confronting you. Knives, guns, bottles, his/her buddies, are all factors that need to be considered before making a move that could end you up in the ER.

Stay safe, and enjoy the videos.
